Thomas L. Brooks, born Lafayette, Indiana, February 16, 1932. Mr. Brooks graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. degree in 1954. After service in the United States Army, he attended the University of Louisville where he received his J.D. degree, Magna Cum Laude. He was admitted to the bar in Indiana in 1959. Mr. Brooks was an assistant professor of business law at Purdue University from 1962 until 1999. He has practiced in the area of probate, estates estate planning and real estate for more than 40 years and served for may years on national committees of the American Bar Association in Estate Planning
